Located in Greensboro, North Carolina and serving all of the South, Bob Beerman’s Bass Violin Shop specializes in repair, set-up and sales of new and used acoustic basses. We also offer bass bows, bass covers and a variety of bass accessories, including Acoustic Image amplifiers. Over the years, our reputation has been built by offering quality instruments, knowledgeable service and reliable repairs at affordable prices.

About Bob

Bob Beerman owns and operates the Bass Violin Shop. Before opening the business, he spent 25 years as a musician, playing Jazz and Classical bass, and attained a Master's Degree in Bass Performance from UNC-Greensboro. After years of setting up and repairing hundreds of violins, violas, cellos and basses, Bob decided to do what he likes best — providing and tailoring basses that are a joy to play. About Gael

Gael McKeon was born and raised in New York City, where he studied the bass and worked as a bass player for eight years. He apprenticed and worked for David Gage as a Luthier for three years. Gael then moved to North Carolina, and has worked for Bob since 2003.

About Teresa

Teresa is Bob's wife and business partner. She has been playing bass for a little while, and takes care of the stuff besides repairs.
