It's amazing what a new sound post, bridge, fingerboard dressing, and strings can do for the playability and sound of your bass. In addition, we specialize in resetting necks, installing new fingerboards, bass bars, C-extensions and repairing cracks.

Workmanship

It’s a matter of basic philosophy: we don’t rush anything we do. We give each job the time it requires to be done right… to meet the highest standards. Both Bob Beerman and Gael McKeon are experienced, highly skilled luthiers specializing in double bass set-up and repair.

School Program

For schools in our immediate area we offer bass set-up and repair with special discount prices. Call us for details of this important service that will make your school’s basses an inspiration for students to practice and play.

In addition, we carry a full line of Sam Shen basses which set a new standard for quality school instruments at very reasonable cost. On all of these basses, we dress the fingerboard, adjust the nut grooves, fit and adjust the bridge and soundpost, and install a choice of strings.
