Voit & Geiger, ca. 1930s
A rare thinline Voit & Geiger, ca. 1930s. A fully carved 3/4 size bass with spruce top, flamed maple ribs, roundback, and neck/scroll. This bass is currently set-up by the owner for early music, with gut strings, a John Pringle bridge, and Peghead geared tuners. We still have the original tuning machines and the bass can be setup to its original configuration. These carved thinline basses rarely hit the market, but they are a very cool piece of double bass history and sound great!
