Bohemian, mid-19th century
A grand old Bohemian 7/8 made in the mid-19th century. This beauty was crafted with a medium grain spruce top, birdseye maple flatback and ribs, and carries a later maple neck. A top-off restoration was completed at the Kolstein shop in New York, and subsequent set-up work includes a new ebony fingerboard and maple adjustable bridge. This is a beautiful bass that has a HUGE sound - it could be a terrific section instrument, or could drive your jazz ensemble!
