A Panormo model double bass made in 2004 by Horst Grunert of Penzberg, Germany. It features a spruce top, figured maple roundback, maple ribs, and maple neck/scroll. This bass carries ebony fittings, a maple adjustable bridge, the original brass tuning machines, and a chromatic C-extension from the Robertson shop. These Grunert basses are excellent instruments that are well-made, easy to play, and sound terrific!
