A Kay S-9 made in 1951 by the Kay Musical Instrument Co. in Chicago, IL. Laminate spruce top, lamiante flamed maple back and ribs, maple neck/scroll. The S-9 model featured real inlaid purfling around the perimeter of the instrument and f-holes, carved scroll volutes, and ebony fittings. It was the cadillac of the Kay lineup and this one is in excellent condition with 99% of the original edges and a neck that has never been broken! Includes soft cover and Fishman Full Circle pickup. Consignment.
