A French style bass bow stamped LAMAY, #589 made by Wisconsin maker, Lawrence Lamay. A round stick made of straight-grain pernambuco, with ivory tip, silver winding, and black thumb leather. The frog is ebony fully mounted in silver, with Parisian eyes, abalone slide, and silver/synthetic octagonal button. This is a powerful bow with very strong wood - perfect for those beefy Brahms strokes! 152g.
