Neuner & Hornsteiner, ca. 1880
-- FALL PRICE DROP! --
An unusual violin cornered model by the Neuner & Hornsteiner firm in Mittenwald, labeled 18_7. Carved spruce top with flamed maple roundback, ribs, neck, and scroll. Theses coveted German instruments were made at a very high level and from the best materials. This one has had some work over the years, including a reduction of the upper bouts, and a fresh BVS neck reset for a shorter string length and more accessible overstand. If you're looking for a professional level instrument with a big, warm, seasoned sound... don't miss this one! Consignment.
