A French double bass from the Paul Claudot shop, Mirecourt ca. 1850s. This beauty features a wide-grain spruce top paired with a lightly figured maple flatback, figured maple ribs, and a maple neck grafted to the original scroll. A top-off restoration was completed by the Heinl shop in Toronto and put this bass in top-notch condition.
