A gorgeous 1937 American Standard made in Cleveland, OH by the H.N. White Co. This second production year bass features laminate construction with maple outer veneers, original red sunburst finish, a maple neck and scroll, ebony fittings, maple bridge, and the original tuning machines. Set-up work was completed by Randy Hunt, including fingerboard work, a neck reset for increased overstated, and a new adjustable bridge.
American Standard basses are becoming more and more difficult to find, and clean pre-war examples even more so. This bass is an absolute CANON... we promise that this one will cut through the band!
