Brian Tunnicliffe, c. 2000
A beautiful bass bow crafted in England ca. 2000 by Brian Tunnicliffe. This bow features a round pernambuco stick paired with a bone tip plate, silver winding, and black leather grip. The frog is ebony fully mounted in silver, with Parisian eyes, pearl slide, and silver button. A bow that plays as nicely as it looks!
Tunnicliffe began making bows in the late 1970s after a mentorship with Aurthur Bultitude. His bows are highly sought after and regarded by top players in major orchestras throughout the UK.
