A 3/4 size double bass crafted in Germany by the EM Pollmann shop, ca. 1970. This model features a straight-grain spruce top paired with lightly figured maple round back, matching ribs, and the original maple neck/scroll. This particular instrument features traditional purling without the typical Pollmann filigree carving along the edges, and carries ebony fittings, a brand new BVS adjustable bridge, and the original tuning machines. If you're looking for a terrific do-it-all bass, this one is healthy and sounds excellent!
