German 3/4 ca. 1850s. High quality construction, not your average shop bass! Straight grain spruce top, with highly flamed flatback and ribs. Played professionally in the Richmond Symphony for several decades. Brand new BVS adjustable bridge, fingerboard dressing, and misc repair work. This would be an orchestral workhorse OR a killer jazz bass if you’re looking for that fat Ray Brown tone! Includes soft cover. Consignment.
