Hannah Mayne, 2006
-- SOLD!--
A fully carved 5/8 double bass made by Hannah Mayne in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2006. Spruce top, black poplar back and ribs, and white birch neck. Fitted with ebony fingerboard and tailpiece, and custom Mario Suracci brass tuning machines. Incredibly light weight with a big, open sound that speaks very quickly!
If you're in the market for a beautiful smaller bass that's a blast to play, this would be equally at home in the orchestra, a jazz combo, a chamber ensemble, or would make an outstanding solo instrument!
