A Hawkes & Son Concert model upright bass made ca. 1900 that features their iconic Panormo pattern with a spruce top, figured maple round back, and maple neck/scroll. It carries ebony fittings, maple adjustable bridge, individual brass/iron tuning machines, and a chromatic C-extension by Mario Lamarre in Montreal. These double basses can really vary in sound production, but this is one of the good ones.
