HR Pfretzschner French

A very clean HR Pfretzschner French bass bow. These French models are seen far less than the German models, and can be really terrific players. This bow features an octagonal pernambuco stick, with a synthetic tip plate, silver winding, and black thumb leather. The frog is ebony fully mounted in silver, with a pearl slide, Parisian eye, and silver/ebony octagonal button. This bow is stamped H.R. PFRETZSCHNER on the player's side and carries the Saxon Coat of Arms on the frog. A responsive and articulate stick at a reasonable price in the French bow market!
