A carved 3/4 size double bass made in Germany ca. 1900 by Josef Rubner. This bass features a spruce top paired with lightly flamed maple roundback, ribs, and neck/scroll. The bass carries ebony fittings, an adjustable mape bridge, and the original single plate tuning machines. A new bridge and fingerboard were just completed by BVS and this bass is a cannon!
