A clean Kay C-1 made in 1954 that features laminate construction with maple top veneer, beautifully flamed maple back veneer, and birdseye maple rib veneer. This beauty is all original and carries a walnut fingerboard, adjustable maple bridge, walnut Kay tailpiece, and Kluson tuning machines. Acquired from the original owner, this bass also includes its original canvas cover and two 1961 & 1962 NYC Transit Authority tickets for transporting the bass via train. A total set-up was completed at Bass Violin Shop, and this bass is ready to gig tonight!
