A 1937 Kay Concert model that features laminate construction with spruce top veneer, and flamed maple back/side veneer. The neck is maple, and the bass carries original finish, original fittings, and original Kluson tuning machines. A total set-up was completed here at BVS, including a fingerboard dressing, new fixed bridge, new tailgut, and new strings. Includes a cover and stand. First-year Kay basses are difficult to come by these days, especially those without broken necks!
