A carved 3/4 size bass from the Markneukirchen region of Germany ca. 1890. This instrument features a spruce top paired with a lightly figured maple roundback, maple ribs, and beech neck/scroll. It carries ebony fittings, an adjustable maple bridge, a chromatic C-extension, and individual brass tuning machines. This bass has a huge, seasoned sound that rivals even the best English and Italian basses out there. If you're looking for an affordable audition bass in healthy condition, then don't wait on this one!
