A unique 3/4 size double bass made in Somerset, England by Martin Penning in 2014. This beauty features a straight-grain spruce top paired with beautifully flamed maple roundback, ribs, and scroll. It carries ebony fittings, an adjustable maple bridge, chromatic C-extension, and individual Baker style tuning machines on brass plates. The sound is responsive, beefy, and full... like a much larger and more expensive instrument. If you're looking for a bass that seriously does it all very well and is super easy to play, then checking this one out is a MUST!
