A 3/4 double bass labeled Samuel Kolstein, 1964. It features a spruce top, plain maple round back, matching ribs, and maple neck/scroll. The varnish is original and the instrument carries ebony fittings, a maple adjustable bridge, and 20th century French tuning machines with Bakelite handles.
