An early bass by Thomas Martin, made in Oxford, England in 1992. Spruce top with beautifully figured roundback, ribs, and neck. Tom's 5th bass and his first 5-string, it was originally made for a member of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and later played for many years in the North Carolina Symphony.
