A French bass bow crafted ca. 1950 by Vincenzo Deluccia (1882-1966) in Philadelphia, PA. This particular example features an octagonal pernambuco stick, an ivory tip plate, and silver winding with black leather grip. The frog is ebony fully mounted in silver, with an ivory underslide, pearl slide, and a nickel/ebony button. These bows are legendary and are being played by professional bassists in major orchestras all over the world. This is a particularly good example that plays beautifully!
