Czech Thinline, ca. 1930s
-- SOLD --
A rare Czech thinline, ca. 1930s, possibly imported through the Voit & Geiger firm. A fully carved 3/4 size model with spruce top, 6-inch flamed maple ribs, roundback, and neck/scroll. This bass carries an adjustable bridge by Nick Lloyd, a brand new ebony fingerboard by BVS in 2025, and the original tuning machines.
These carved thinline basses rarely hit the market, but they are a very cool piece of double bass history and sound terrific despite their unusual rib proportions. If you've been in the market for one of these beauties, then don't miss out on this freshly set-up example!
